I've experienced my own traumas and dramas, which has given me a level of empathy difficult to match, and the inside scoop on the journey ahead. Add in a lot of education and professional experience and you get creative, collaborative therapy with me.
There are specific therapies I have seen be useful to client's time and time again. While not one kind of therapy is a silver bullet, generally, I have seen profound change happen quickly with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). EMDR, IFS, and DBT are my go-to methods, but we'll use all the tools in my wheel house as well as yours to get us where we need to go.
